Beens was born from a simple observation:

the people who set the tone in any city — the chefs, the creatives, the athletes, the founders, the names you already follow — don't actually meet most of the people who follow them. And the people who follow them don't really get to meet anyone new either.

Everyone is reachable. Nobody is accessible.

You can watch a chef cook for a decade and never eat at their table. You can train alongside an athlete in your feed and never share a court. The closer culture pulls everyone together on a screen, the less anyone actually meets.

We started Beens because the internet collapsed the distance between people in every way except the one that matters…
